Crépuscule at the Agora

The evenings in Canada have been fabulous and, unbelievably, free. Tonight we went to an arts and craft fair in the port before heading to the Agora for a free circus show. Unsure what to expect for this princely sum, to say we were surprised would be a massive understatement. The hour long show began with us in an hour long queue, but we were rewarded for turning up so early by being towards the front; the queue eventually snaked off out of the port and into the street. The show itself was in the ilk of cirque du soleil - hugely talented acrobats with trampolines, fire, balance beams and skipping ropes. An unbelievably show put on by the city, for free, and a great way to end our visit to Quebec.Read more
