An inauspicious start

Early up and out, with a clear run to Manchester, the morning all went smoothly. So much so we sat with Flight Radar in the airport identifying the planes taking off and landing whilst we waited for departure.

As we came into land over Athens, the gusting winds gave some turbulence and ultimately just feet off the runway the pilot pulled up steeply and we went around the circuit again...causing a few raised heartrates! Second time lucky and then through customs much quicker than last time we were here, and without yhe drunkely narrated history of Greek mythology. 31° and climbing, Athens here we come!En savoir plus
