Wandering Athens

A walk out before a midday transfer to port. After an early breakfast we tried to take advantage of the coolness of the morning - it was not cool! We wandered through the Plaka which was a world of difference to last night - gone were the pavements full of diners and shops spilling into the street. Instead, a serene morning stroll under creeping ivy laden walls and beautiful blue skies. Around the perimeter of Ancient Agora and the slopes of the Acropolis, before passing through Athens first cemetery on the way back to the hotel for a well-needed shower!Baca selengkapnya
