Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque

The Hagia Sofia looked much more worn than we remembered it. The large square outside wasn't thronging with tourists but then we didn't go to the ticket line, and given the lengthy queues outside the Basilica Cistern, perhaps the queues were there instead. The blossom-lined avenue between Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque was perfect for photos, and we wandered inside the main walls of the Blue Mosque for the first time too. Czytaj więcej
