Today was AMAZING! We woke up at 8 and headed to big brother mouse where we were getting the bus from to the Little sister mouse school. 4 of us headed out of town with an American man who had founded the school alongside 2 laos university teaching students! The school was amazing and the children even more incredible. We started off learning about the school and chatting with some young adults helping them practise their English! After this we went and taught 3 pre-school classes one after eachother and it was the CUTEST thing ever. Started off doing headshouldersnkneesandtoes with me stood in the middle of 30 laos 3 year olds was sooo cute! We then taught each class some English including animals and colours was amazing. After this we headed back to help the young adults with their English before having a yummy laos local lunch with all the students! After lunch we had a 10 minute lesson in Laos - it’s the most confusing language ever - if 1 word is said at 3 different pitches it can have 3 different meanings! We also learnt some laos sign language! After this we headed up to the primary school and taught 4 different groups of children with varying English ability description and tenses - was so cute! At the end of the day we danced to music with the children and then played maths games with the young adults. Finished the day playing a world map game with the young adults where you look at a picture and guess what country it is from - it’s so fun and their world map knowledge was actually incredible! Honestly the best day ever - reminded me of India and made me miss it so much! (I Have an amazing video of all the children dancing but can’t seem to upload it here so will show you when I’m home! )Læs mere
