Today we woke up and the weather wasn’t too good but Millie Charlie and I we went in the pool anyway despite the rain! Was so fun we played loads of games and started chatting to some people round the pool! Got changed into warm clothes and went and sat in the common area and watched a film before Charlie had to leave for his bus :( was very sad! We then met a really nice girl called Gina an spent the afternoon with her chatting! Our friend George from home that we spent time with in Byron and surfers was staying with some Australian friends just outside of noosa and so they came to noosa and picked us up and we all went for dinner. Was so much fun and so nice to meet them, they were driving the most bashed up truck ever from their job on the lake, was so funny! Came back and met our new hostel room mates, they were all so nice so we all played cards together and had a night in.Baca lagi

Today was so much fun! Our whole hostel room decided to all walk to the national park together and to the fairy pools. We spent the journey getting to know eachother and it was so funny. We then arrived, swum in the pools and took some pics! After this we headed back to town and all the girls went for lunch to Betty’s burgers and it was delicious! We then returned to the hostel and bought some plain white t-shirts for the UV night that was happening that night. We all got ready and pre-d together and went to the night out, was so so much fun everyone had UV paint everywhere literally!! Met up wjth Lauren our friend from Byron which was so fun and all hung out together! We went to a strange club after but I happened to bump into some people liz and Daria (our friends who are also travelling) met in the whitsundays! Was so weird!Baca lagi

Today we felt a little bit rough after our night out and had UV paint all over our bed sheets!! It was so sunny so we walked down to the beach 5 of us from our hostel and met some girls we had met last night down there from another hostel! We bought açai bowls which were delicious and then sunbathed for the morning! After this, we headed back to the hostel and swum in the pool and hung out there, chatting to people from our hostel! Had showers, got ready and went out again as all our friends from the first 2 days were coming back from their Fraser trip. Was so much fun to see them all again and we had such a good night!Baca lagi

Today we got up quite late but decided to head to Eumundi markets just outside of noosa! We got a bus which ended up taking quite a while but we eventually arrived and it was amazing. Despite the rain we managed to do slightly more shopping than we probably should have and then had lunch in a cafe near by! We met up with some people we met last night from another hostel and all got the bus back together! After this we had a snooze and then got ready to go out! We had 2 new room mates who were so nice so we all went out together and it was such a fun night! Met some Aussie girls who were so nice and are gonna meet up with back in London!Baca lagi

Today we got up and got the greyhound bus to rainbow beach! We arrived at midday and got upgraded to a private room with a double bed, we were so excited not to be in a 12 bed dorm for one night haha! We decided to explore the beaches and sunbathed before finding the coolest colourful steps! Met some funny girls here who we are gonna meet up with further up! Then went into town for a toastie and headed to pippies Beachhouse for a briefing ahead of our Fraser Island trip tomorrow! Met the nicest people and we were so excited to go! We all had a massive barbecue together and we met two girls Katie and Ellie who we got on with so well! Realised we had some mutual friends and they knew lots of Sashas friends from Durham which was weird! Then headed to bed early as we had a 6am start!Baca lagi

Today we got up so early and had breakfast ready to go to Fraser Island! We were in a car of 10 girls in a 4x4 with 3 other cars following. We got the ferry over to Fraser Island drove the cars along the beach, it was so much fun! Then went to the champagne pools which were so beautiful - they are called this because when the waves crash over the pool it makes a fizzing that looks like champagne! We then climbed up this big rock to a place called Indian head which had amazing views over the island! Our big group then headed up to these sand blows to watch the sunset, it was so much fun! A girl played her ukulele for us all and we sing and watched the sun set! Headed back for a bbq and lots of drinking games! Slept in our tents overnight and wasn’t actually too uncomfy!Baca lagi

2 April 2019, Australia ⋅ ☁️ 23 °C
We were woken up so early to get going for the day - Me and millie chilled in the hammocks with a big group of people and ate breakfast all together! Then we headed off in the cars to a lake where no one else was, it was beautiful. Had the most delicious wraps by the lake and sat and chatted all together before heading to lake mckenzie! Honestly it was so so beautiful we couldn’t believe it - Looked exactly like the photos. We hung out took pictures and exfoliated using the sand! Even put it in our hair because it’s meant to make your hair softer hmmmm! We then headed back along the beach at sunset playing songs so loudly and singing all together - was honestly so much fun! Had a huge dinner and lots of drinks and then headed down to the beach to see the most beautiful stars ⭐️Baca lagi

Today we felt rather hungover after last night so had a slightly slower start haha! Went to the Maheno shipwreck which was so cool. Then we headed to Eli Creek for the morning where we got big donut things and sat in them whilst floating down the creek towards the sea, was so much fun! All played a big game of volleyball on the beach with the net hung between two cars and had lunch together :( after this, so sad to be leaving, we headed back over to rainbow beach on the ferry! Went out for dinner with Katie and Ellie our new Fraser Island besties and had ice cream! Died Katie’s hair pink and sat and chatted with everyone from our trip :)Baca lagi

Today we got up and already missed Fraser and camping so much! Went down to the beach with Katie and Ellie! Sunbathed and went back to the rainbow steps which had been repainted since we were last there and the words have disappeared - we weren’t sure if we were even at the same steps for the first 5 mins hahaha :) then we had some lunch and said bye to the girls! Got the bus for 18 hours overnight from rainbow beach to Airlie Beach! Managed to sleep most of the way but rather uncomfortably!Baca lagi

Today we arrived at Airlie at 7.30am! After our overnight we were rather smelly and tired but headed to the supermarket and bought some carrots hummus and muesli for breakfast! Sat by the lagoon at Airlie Beach ad ate breakfast. We felt so gross so actually forced ourselves to do our first bit of exercise - did an ab workout on the lagoon by the sea, was a pretty beautiful workout spot! We then swam in the lagoon and met up with some friends from Byron. Sunbathed and then checked into our room later on! Spent the evening with some friends having a chilled dinner:)Baca lagi

6 April 2019, Great Barrier Reef ⋅ 🌬 26 °C
Today we woke up and packed our bags to check out ready for the Atlantic clipper boat around the whitsundays!met up with two girls from Reigate for breakfast who we hadn’t met before but had mutual friends so thought we would meet up! Hung out with Katie and Ellie for the morning and then Millie and I walked to the check in spot for the boat! Met up with Hannah who was on our clipper and we had met in her in noosa already. We all got on the boat and met everyone before having drinks on the deck and chilling all together. Sat in the hot tub with some welsh boys and girls and as we were in there it torrentially rained but was so much fun! luckily the rain only lasted 5 mins then had sun all afternoon! they got out a slide on the side of the boat so we went on this 100 times and swum in the sea! Had dinner and danced all night on the boat!!Baca lagi

Today was honestly one of the best days ever! We got up and had breakfast on the deck with everyone in the sunshine! Cruises over to whitehaven beach and walked up to the lookout point, was so so amazing!! We then went down to the beach and saw baby lemon sharks in the shallow water as it’s so clear, was so cool. Made friends with some Americans and all sat and chatted with people from our boat! We then headed back onto the boat for a delicious lunch and then went snorkelling! Was so cool saw lots of fish and sunbathed :) We then chilled on the deck as the sun set was so beautiful - definitely a cloud 9 moment. Had dinner upstairs and started drinking, got rather drunk and all dressed up in the most ridiculous outfits haha!! Danced all night and looked at the stars before a very late bed time!Baca lagi

This morning was SO much fun. We woke up so hungover, had breakfast and then they anchored the boat. Got out this giant inflatable slide, paddle boards and opened up the side of the boat so we could jump into the water. We paddle boarded, went down the slide possibly 40 times and jumped off the side of the boat all together. Was honestly the most fun morning ever ever ever. Definitely got rid of our hangovers! Had lunch on the boat then drove back to the marina :( we were so sad to get off, had honestly been the funnest 2 days ever with such a good group of people! Chilled by the lagoon and then went shopping in Airlie Beach hehe!! Had pre drinks with a massive group of us and all headed out to the after party of our boat. All the crew were there and all of us was so much fun!Baca lagi

Today we woke up and packed up our stuff!! Got on a bus to Townsville with some friends from our Fraser trip and arrived in Townsville at about 2pm. We caught a ferry over to magnetic island and checked into our amazing hostel base! It was so so nice with a huge bar area and pool, right on the beach! Looks literally like paradise, the vibe is so chilled!! Checked into our rooms which were huts on the beach, so cool!! We then went and chilled by the pool with some friends from noosa and ended up sitting there til the sun went down!Baca lagi

Australia - day 35
10 April 2019, Australia ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C
Today was one of the funnest days. We woke up early and had our free breakfast - I had banana bread with Nutella and fruit (diets going well) hahah! Was so yummy. We then got on the bus to ‘Topless barbie car rentals’ with two friends we had met on the ferry over! We rented a little barbie style car and spent the day driving round the island, it was so much fun! The car felt so weird at first but we soon got used to it and was hilarious. Had the speaker and played the music the whole way! We stopped at different bays, sunbathed and swam! We then drove to a sanctuary place where they were feeding birds, they put food in your hand and all the birds fly all over you, I found it so stressful and traumatic hahaha didn’t actually enjoy it very much! Millie found it hilarious watching me though! We then headed to do the Fort walk at sunset and on the way up saw a wild koala in the tree. It was incredible, so cute and so close! We then watched the sunset from the top of the forts which was beautiful and had dinner in a big group at our hostel!Baca lagi

Today we had a lie in and walked to the shops to get some breakfast :) Made some granola and yoghurt and chilled by the pool! We swam and went down to the beach with lots of people we had met further down the coast! It was so hot on this day! Spent the day chilling at our beautiful hostel. Our friend Hannah from the clipper then arrived and we were so excited to see her! Spent the evening with them and then it was ladies night so all the boys dressed up as girls and did a catwalk! Today we got up and got the ferry back over to Townsville! Hopped on the bus all the way up to Cairns and arrived about 8pm! Checked into our hostel giligans and reunited with our two besties from Fraser who were in our hostel room! Went out at the club attached to our hostel all together and met up with some friends from the whitsundays! Was so much fun being all together again :)Baca lagi

Today we woke up slightly hungover so headed to cairns lagoon to go chill for the day! The weather was so nice so we sunbathed and then went to a travel agents to book a Great Barrier Reef trip for the next day! Was quite expensive so we decided to cook dinner instead to save money haha! Our friends from magnetic then arrived at the hostel and we all went out together again - was so much fun!Baca lagi

Australia - day 39

Today was INCREDIBLE! We went snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef! We got up at 7am and boarded our luxury boat for the day!! Got tea coffee biscuits and got kitted up with all our snorkel gear. We then drove for about an hour to the first snorkel location on the outer reef and it was quite windy so very choppy and lots of people on board were sea sick 🤢 We then did our first snorkelling and it was incredible - the coral was amazing and it was so clear, we saw so many amazing fish and a turtle so so close! We then had a delicious lunch of steak, king prawns and all the food you could ever ask for before heading to the second location. This one was even more amazing as it wasp shallow so you were literally swimming alongside the fish. We then sunbathed on the deck and headed back to cairns after an amazing day! Packed up all our things and had dinner with friends - this was our last day in Australia :(Baca lagi

Bali - day 1

Today we left Australia :( so sad as we have had the most incredible 5 weeks ever out here! We woke up at 4am to get our flight from Cairns to Sydney and then Sydney to Depansar! The flights weren’t too bad at all and we landed in Bali at 4pm. There was such a long queue for immigration but eventually we got through and then the disaster happened haha! Millie collected her bags off the baggage carousel however mine was no where to be seen! We asked and apparently this was all the bags from the flight so I had to fill out a lost baggage form and take it to the lady on the desk. To everyone else she said that their bags would be with them tomorrow or something but to me she simply said there was no information and told me to wait until they contacted me with further information!! We left the airport with one bag between us and headed for our hostel the Cara Cara Inn in Kuta. Checked in and went into our room! We had showers - millie shared everything with me pants, socks, pjs everything haha! Had a early night and called Daddy to tell him about my bag haha!Baca lagi

With no information still on my bag, we headed down to the beach anyway, me in a full outfit of Millie’s haha! Met up with some boys that I met a few years ago at reading festival and happened to be in Bali at the same time as us! We chilled on the beach and the boys surfed! Millie had her toenails painted by Mama Loco was hilarious, she sung her theme tune as she painted her nails! We then went and did some shopping for some clothes and shoes for me so I at least had a bikini and a dress! We watched the sunset with beers and then got ready for a night out. Headed out into Kuta and went to Skygarden which was all you can eat and drink for £4! Had so much fun clubbing withthe boys and randomly bumped into a friend of ours From Reigate whilst we were there - so random!Baca lagi

Bali - day 3

Today we got up and chilled at our beautiful hostel pool! Was so nice to chill at. We then walked to a little cafe and had the most delicious smoothie bowls for breakfast - yum! Then checked out of our hostel and got in a taxi to head to our next hostel in Seminyak! As we were in the taxi I saw an email from the airport saying that they had a bag that looked like mine - it was!!!!! We got the taxi to the airport instead and I was reunited with my bag - never been so relieved in my life! We then headed to our next hostel - Capsule in Seminyak and checked in. Headed down to La Plancha beach bar for sunset cocktails with the boys from reading and it was so beaut! Sat here til the sun had gone down and then headed for dinner and drinks together! Went out on the funnest night out in Kuta and bumped into some friends from Australia!! Partied all together and didn’t end up going to sleep until 5am!!Baca lagi

Today we got up feeling very hungover and headed to the Kynd community for breakfast. This place was the prettiest place I have ever been - everything so stylish and beaut!! Had breakfast then headed down to the beach with the boys to chill. We went back to the hostel later and sat around the pool with some people from our hostel before heading back to La Plancha for sunset, only this time for soft drinks haha! We then chilled here with the boys and all talked about how much we fancied watching a film. Googled it and found a cinema 10 minutes away for £2! Went to the cinema and it was so much fun!Baca lagi

Today we woke up and got smoothie bowls from cafe organic a cute cafe by the beach! Headed down to the beach to sunbathe then back to our hostel pool for the day! In the evening we headed to Finns beach club which was so cool - had a few beers and a couple of Mojitos and then headed for the most delicious dinner with the boys! Such a good day :)Baca lagi

Today was so good! We woke up and had pancakes for breakfast at the hostel which were delicious and then headed to potato head beach club for the day with the boys. Chilled here all day and it was a dreaaaam! Had far too many beers and cocktails and yummy lunch - was a big treat! Stayed here all through sunset and swam in the pool at dusk, was so fun! After this we headed back to seminyak for dinner together for only £1.50! Cheapest dinner yet!! We then realised that we were only a 5 minute walk from Elizabeth and Daria (bestfriends from home) so walked/excitedly ran to meet up with them!! Was the most exciting thing ever!! Spent 4 hours with beers having a HUGE catch up - have missed eachother so much!Baca lagi
