Balu - Unser neues Familienmitglied

After one week looking for the perfect car we finally found it! It is a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder with a roof top tent and it will be our home for the next months. We already enjoyed the first two nights sleeping in our tent on a camping site close to the Swan Valley - a famous wine region not far from downtown Perth.

In our new car we found some skateboards and fishing equipment, so now we just have to learn how it works.

During the Easter holidays we will stay in the area around Perth because we still have to wait for our bank cards and the tax numbers. As soon as we received both we will start to search for jobs to earn some money for our road trip around Australia. But as long as we haven't received it we will relax, have great BBQs and enjoy our new five star campervan ;) By the way we named it Balu! :D

Nach einer Woche in einem Hostel in Perth haben wir nun ein Auto gefunden. Es ist ein Nissan Pathfinder mit einem Zelt auf dem Dach, also genau das was wir wollten! Das Auto wird für die nächsten Monate unser Zuhause sein.

Auf dem ersten Campingplatz haben wir erstmal alles ausgeladen um zu sehen was wir noch so im Auto finden und neben einer kompletten Campingausrüstung sind wir jetzt (mehr oder weniger) stolze Besitzer von Skateboards und Angeln. Die ersten zwei Nächte haben wir schon im Zelt ⛺ geschlafen und es ist wirklich bequem.

Zurzeit sind wir im sogenannten Swan Valley, einer Weinregion vor den Toren von Perth.

Für die Ostertage werden wir noch im Umkreis von Perth bleiben, da wir noch sowohl auf unsere australischen Bankkarten, als auch auf unsere Steuernummer warten. Sobald wir das alles haben geht es los mit der Jobsuche. Aber so lange werden wir erstmal noch ein bisschen das Leben mit unsere fünf Sterne Luxuscamper genießen.
