Bourbon on Main Frankfort - KY

We went downtown on a mission to find some of the extra special bourbons, the lady at the visitor centre recommended Bourbon on Main, looked like a regular house, but in we went. First tasting was a Blantons, which we saw being bottled, next was a 10yo Pappys Rip Van Winkle a real treat. The food here was pretty good too, baked crab dip followed by taco quesadillas.
We then took a walk along Main St and back along Broadway, Frankfort is a pretty town People were sitting outside bars and we enjoyed the sidewalk bluegrass band and a dram of Elmer E Taylor bourbon before heading home.Read more
