St Louis Zoo, Forest Park

Trip to Forest Park the venue for the 1904 World Fair and 1904 Olympics. It is known as the "Heart of St. Louis" and features a variety of free attractions, including the St. Louis Zoo, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, and the St. Louis Science Center. We did not get any further than the Zoo, which is recognized as a leading zoo in animal management, research, conservation, and education. Great day out and so much good work being done here to ensure species do not become extinct. Highlight was Moyo, a male black rhinoceros calf born May 17, 2017 weighing 130lbs, he now tips the scales at over 280lbs.
