Memorial Day

After the loop we ride our bikes to Freeman Park where there is a ‘Field of Honor’ and an event for Memorial Day. On our way in Stew asked a guy on his bike (Dan Shirley) if we were going the right way and another chance meeting leads to a memorable afternoon and evening.
We walk through the flags representing local military personnel who lost their lives in war, it is very moving. Good to hear the pipes and drums of the Teton and District Pipe Band and see some Scottish dancing.
Finished off the afternoon with a pint of Caber Toss a Scottish style ale at the Tap-n-Fill as recommended by the Shirley family (Dan, Janice, Elise, Josh & Austin) who we joined on the patio. Czytaj więcej
