    Meet Minnie

    August 18, 2019 in England ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

Picked up our new toy yesterday. A Roller Team Pegaso 590 and its only 6m (19’ 8”) long, tiny compared to our US coach, but like a tardis inside as the bed pulls down over the cab.

  • Taunton, Somerset

    August 20, 2019 in England ⋅ ⛅ 17 °C

Staying at Cornish Farm Campground for a few days, alarm and immobiliser fitted to Minnie today. Had a wander round Taunton and the Museum of Somerset and the Almshouse dates back to 1500. Yummy Cornish pasty for lunch from the world’s oldest pasty maker, not sure why it’s in Somerset though ??? Had to smile at the moorhen on a cardboard box in the river Tone. Wee dram to celebrate our Minnie.Read more

  • Morcambe Bay

    August 30, 2019 in England ⋅ 🌧 16 °C

Trip round Morcambe Bay, famous for its huge intertidal mudflats and sands. Tried to drive out to Sunderland Point but the road is a causeway, and it was high tide, doh !! Weather windy and grey !!

  • Aird Peninsula - Argyll and Bute

    September 18, 2019 in Scotland ⋅ ☁️ 14 °C

Parked at the end of the road. First go at dry (wild) camping in Minnie Peg. Great scenery with views over the sea to Jura and Scarba with the infamous Corryvrechan whirlpool. Had a great hike out to the end of the peninsula. Weather was overcast, but clearing over Jura.Read more
