Off to Alex's place for brunch

Margaret and Colin's friend Alex is from Romania and invited us to brunch at her house before everyone goes away on holiday. I was invited to come along and so glad to see Alex again. I had first met her six years ago at Jonathan and Rosalia's wedding.

We had a lovely time discussing our various lives since then and again i'm reminded how difficult life can be as an immigrant, even more so when the language is totally different, and how resilient we humans can be.Leer más
