Sunny Lübeck☀️☀️☀️

A long drive through beautiful countryside brought us finally into Hansa Stadt Lübeck. The hotel situated next to the train station, a stones throw from the iconic Holsentür was perfect. We ventured out in the evening to a vibrant city and had something to eat at a restaurant named Kartoffelnspeicher. Ideally placed next to the river, or moat that circles the town, we sat outside and were entertained by live rock music coming from the park. It was a plesant evening, so we walked around the town and had a drink at the town's oldest bar, the Seafarers Tavern and finished the night in an Irish bar, Flannigan's. I had to drink the obigatory black velvet and we were fortunate to catch a live band, Handschöne perform. The perfect finish to a great first day.Read more
