Sea and Sunshine

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day. Morning coffee in our room and then off to start our 17+ mile walk. Day one of training on how to spot the yellow arrows which will guide our way to Santiago de Compostela. We enjoyed the sunshine and the sound of the sea as we walked today. Taking our boots off midday while we ate our picnic lunch purchased from a local grocery. We like so many pilgrims before, us left our footprints on the sand and the boardwalks. Arriving in Vila do Conde, just in time to visit the church and attend the rosary service. Sharing a 4 person room tonight with my sisters. Rest before another day on the Camino.Leia mais
