Mayan ruins in El Salvador - Never realised the Mayans reached this far south. Unfortunately the ruins were damaged by earthquakes and bad weather, so much so that somewhere covered with cement to "preserve" them. Others have been left unexcavated. Undoubtedly not as impressive as those in Mexico. Obviously the Mayan figured out it was not a good idea to build very tall structures in this region!Baca selengkapnya
