• Our first night at an inn

    We found an actual Inn on airbnb for quite a good price, and it was just far enough to get there after dark, but still have dinner. It was actually quite nice inside, the room was really enormous, and there was an ice machine a few meters outside out door (I've no idea what Americans actually do with ice at a motel, but it seems to be a thing they have at every place). We wanted to try chowder while we were still at the seaside, so that's what we both ordered. It was nice, but not amazing (spoiler for the future, as I am writing this a bit late: the next day we went to a place that is famous for its chowder, and it tasted much much better). We forgot to acquire cake for me, but we had a big portion of warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream.Read more
