North of Husavik - Puffins & Lava

Since we arrive rather early in Husavik, we drive a bit further North- We read in some forum, that there is a good Puffin watching spot. And we find them, these sweet little birds. Sitting in a cliff over the ocean...

We also pass by two other sights: the Asbyrgi canyon (not very impressive( and the Hljodaklettar river gorge. This one is better: quite strange lava basalt rocks, and a wild river running through it.Leggi altro
