Smart choice, we figure out: it’s so late , that most travelers & all the tourist boats on this glacier lagoon are gone . Much nicer lie this. Small Icebergs that break if the Vatnajökul glacier, float around … and into the sea. Then they get washed onto the black lava sand - like ice cubes. Another Iceland unique thing, we guess.
