A cottage at Staa

Finding this cottage was a bit of a treasure hunt. I came close on my first run but convinced myself I must have been in the wrong spot, On my second attempt, I ended up exploring a junkyard with some unfinished cottages where further work appears to have been abandoned. On my third attempt, I perservered with a quite ill-defined track past a parked car and discovered a building that had been hidden from view.

Petra, the owner, came out to greet me, and we worked out how to get my trailer from one side of the house to the other through all the vegetation growing around the house.

Once inside, it was clear that this was going to be a very nice place to relax for the evening. Other than having to bring water to the sink from the bathroom, everything about the place worked.Read more
