    Today was the first really day entirely on asphalt. There were some occasional very short stretches on now disused sections where an older alignment of the road crossed old stone bridges.

    The pilgrim house is a combination of small buildings, extensions, and annexes, which gives the place a rather higgledy-piggledy feel. It is on a family farm, although the current generation has stopped farming and have retired.

    Tonight, I was joined by Floor, a Dutch woman from Trondheim filling in the section from Duved to Stiklestad she hasn't previously walked.
