Paris to Belgium

I woke up early with the sun, after about 5hr sleep. We had breakfast overlooking the 14th arrondissement and beautiful weather. Yummy breakfast with real French croissants, cheese and pain au chocolat. 😋
After breakfast we did some errands and shopping, we bought a painting from the artist next door to the hotel and some pastries in the street behind.
We checked out then caught the train to Orly to pick up our hire car. It took a lot of getting used to everything before we drove into Paris, through it and north to Belgium. There were a few false turns but nothing major. However there were crashes and does so we arrived later than planned with my cousin. She had to be out that evening so we stayed and had a quiet, relaxing night.Læs mere
