Graz

After breakfast at Vino Valdhuber — delivered in a charming little picnic basket to our apartment — we made our way to Graz for the afternoon.

First disappointment of the day: the iconic Murinsel was closed due to the holiday. But Graz quickly recovered from that setback.

We took the funicular up to the Schlossberg, explored the old fortress remains, and admired the famous Graz Clock Tower towering above the city. Afterwards, we descended via the elevator straight into the old town.

From there: Hauptplatz, City Hall, beautiful streets, and of course a coffee stop at BLEND coffee roasters. Nice modern roastery, good cappuccino, though this time no beans came home with me. We balanced things out with Austrian pastries before ending the visit at the cathedral — just in time before the rain started.Baca lagi
