Europe 2023

As we were checking out of the hotel, we learned that today was a major celebration of Harley Davidson motorcycles, and there was a major parade of them scheduled that morning. Made us wonder if we would be stuck in a taxi trying to cross the parade route.

Once we got to the ship and checked in, we went out to buy toiletries in case our luggage didn't get found and delivered. On the way, we walked along a few blocks of the HD parade route - very noisy from all the bikes.

After a number of phone calls and emails, I was able to determine that our luggage was en route to Vienna, but was able to redirect it back to the ship in Budapest.

Kate and Kyle arrived late afternoon. We had dinner and then went on a night bus tour of Budapest. The tour was pretty lackluster, but we were pleased to find our 2 missing bags in our room when we returned.Leia mais
