Finally at airport!!!

Finally at the airport!
It's 04.58 am, the girls play at the little playground as they slept all night long...
We, Mommy and daddy are soo tired... daddy didn't sleep at all... hahaha

On our 13 hours plane

Well I've got to say it was long!
But even if the girls woke up at 3 am they didn't sleep at all during the trip...
They wasn't grumpy and didn't even look at bit tired.. well I'm more talking about our baby monster on this one...
They were really nice and play nicely I'm sure people didn't really notice they were with a 21 months old girl on the plane...

It was our first experience in the first class and I have to say holy crap! That was nice! The hostess were very nice, the food excellente and they never say no for something we have asked for.

Our first day

Relaxing day even if the girls are really tired.
The resort is awesome and we didn't see all of it yet!
The pool are very nice and the beach is great.
We saw a lot of wild animal on the gardens.
If you enjoy to walk the resort is perfect. If you don't they are a lot of nice trolley every 15 min (the girls really prefere the trolley... it is just an other fun activity to do for her).
Camille and Lea played all day in the great kids pool. Lea didn't wanted to sleep at all today... and didn't eat well.
Camille eat ok and was a little moody at the end.
So the day was good but still not as good as it could be. The girls are not yet entirely accommodate to our new place. I hope they gonna be soon.Read more

Day at the pool

It was a sunny day. We decided to stay at the hotel and rest a little more. The girls are still very tired. Camille is in much better mood. She eat well and listen more than the last 2 days. Lea was sick. She vomits 2 times during the night and had fever all day long. She was also very tired and had a 4.30hrs nap. She didn't ate at all... and that really makes me worried.Read more

Playa del carmen and the pool

After a great breakfast we went in the la hacienda to find a taxi. We find a nice driver who was pleased to drive us there and wait for us to drive us back to the hotel and without any charges!!
He told us a lot of good advice and we think we will take him as our driver for the next trip we have planned to do.
We went to playa del carmen and arrived at 10 am. We've walked to the 5th avenue and took some families pictures in front of the famous Parque los Fundadores.
During our way back we took pictures inside and old car with a squelette as a driver.
Finally we find a great and cosy place to eat very good tacos. The name of the restaurant was 100 % natural.
Lea was still sick in the morning but after her little nap and a little trip in the pool she ate a bit and was feeling way better.
She ate a little bit at night too what she didn't those 2 last days.
Camille was a little grumpy in the morning but was really great at night as her sister.

Day at the squash pool in coba

Today Lea was feeling much better and ate fine. So I have to say that even if we had to punish one out two times the girls today we are proud parents.
They never seemed tired when it comes to play at the pool.. our to say hi to the little wild animal which live all around the resort.
Camille was all on daddy... she never had been like this before...
Lea did hurt herself a few times... so she gained new scratch on her legs.
Finally we ate a the restaurant La grande Tortuga. The meat were delicious and daddy enjoyed the free wine.
The girls, after this big day, felt asleep directly.Read more

Muyil, coba and tulum

It was a big busy hot day.... OMG we are exhausted! But it was worth it!
Muyil was very cosy and nice and without all the crowding.
Coba was enormous with a lot of walk and very hot... But we had to do It! We climbed up the big temple and the view cut us out of breath!
It was a little bit slippery when we wanted to get down so we had to do it on our butt.

We ended our trip by tulum and it was just fantastic! The view were amazing! And even if it was still pretty hot we are just glad to have done it!
We took wonderful family pictures!
The girls and us were glad to finally come back to the hotel to just jump into the pool!

It was a great and tiring day!Read more

Day at the pool

Today I was sick... I've trow up like 2 times...
Camille was very tired and didn't wanted to eat so she couldn't got the pool in the morning. We hope that she will understand that we don't want to joke about the food. We love her to death but sometimes she does have temper!
Lea didn't wanted to eat what we wanted her to at first but as greedy as she is she ate at the end even if it took times...

Daddy has teach Lea how to jump on the deep water! Of course she did love it and did it all day. Daddy became is buddy and she wanted to jump only on his arms.

She was really pleased.
We went to eat to the Tequila restaurant. (That is when I ve trow up the second time)... fortunately for me I have a wonderful man who took great care of me...
It was very embarrassing...
But the food looked very good.Read more

Day at the pool

Camille was very sick... so yeah it was Lea, then Mommy and after camille who got sick... great!
She threw up a few times on the lobby and the main restaurant...
She had bad diarrhea. She was very tired and very much daddy's little girl.
Lea was great... she was a little bit sad for her sister but enjoyed the pool with Mommy.

Storming day

It was a storming and raining day... first we had sun and decided to go to the pool and then on a few minutes the sky was covered with black clouds.
We first thought that it would pass so we very stayed at the pool under our two umbrellas... but then the rain came and didn't stop. So we decided to be brave and to walk trough it to our room. It was like we just came out of our shower but with clothes on.
We decided to have a family nap.
We be trying the archery... and I ve to say that neither of us are good at it...
Camille didn't go to the pool at all today as she got grounded for not wanted to eat at all while she was hungry for deserts...
Lea did hurt herself before diner time at her lips..
Hope it won't swallow much.
We ate at the restaurant Don Pablo.
The main dishes were just excellent!!!Read more

To the beach

It was a beautiful day!
We decide today to head up at the beach! We took all the sand toys and the floaters. At first camille was still grounded. So we went with Lea. She was really scared as it was a real first trip at the beach.
But after a while she began to swim on her own and play in the sand.
We saw lots of fish swimming between our leg so for the girls it was magical.
Of course the item we bought for my phone to work in the water didn't work at all so we couldn't take pictures...
In the afternoon both girls enjoyed the beach and fishes
We went to the pool for an hour put out all the salt on our body and believe is or not it was colder on the pool than on the beach!
At night we went to the Mikado restaurant we had a table with other people places just around the cook place. We had a great spectacle with the cook and camille was out of breath.
After that long day the girls are tired and we are too.

Xcaret

It was a beautiful long and great day! In the morning we first swum on a cenote of the park. It lasted for 1 hr and I took Lea with me while daddy took camille. It was a 1 hr swim but it was with it. We saw beautiful landscape while we were in the water. We even swum almost totally into the dark. I was proud of the girl because they didn't cried even if it was cold!
After that, we went on dreamland as camille called it.
We went true team world of butterflies and of birds. The first and only words of the girls was : waouw!
After that we went see the fish, the sharks and the turtles.
We rested while we ate at a Mexican buffet.
We then headed to a beautiful and quite natural pool.... it was magical.
We took 8p pictures of us with the parrots and every single thing we could see on the park.
We lived after a long day of walk and came back to the hotel where we ate diner.Read more

Day of rest...

We played all day to the pool.
the girls were exited and not at all tired...
We ate at the Dolce vita an Italian restaurant. It was very good.

Collectivo tour

Our first trip with the collectivo! 35 pesos/person while in taxi it would have been more than 25 $.... hahaha great experience with a nice driver. The girls are in a good mood and enjoy the trip

Cenote azul

We went to the cenote azul. The color of the water was sometime blue turquoise and sometime green as an émeraude.... it was perfectly clear... we could see thousand of fish. Some fishes tried to eat our feet (in some places you have to pay for it). The girls enjoyed the look of the Fish while we jumped off a cliff.

Akumal bay

We went to the beach to see the tortues swimming on there natural environment. I wasn't 100%sure of we would have the chance to see one. One by one we went with camille into the see and we were grateful to see each time one giant Tortues swimming in and out from the ocean.
Lea was too small to come but camille really enjoyed the trip!

Last day

Already our last day...
We ve decided to rest at the playground pool in coba for our last day.
The girls appreciated and we ve seen that they really started to play together. Lea decided to slide on one of the big slide and wouldn't stop.
Camille didn't mind at all to play with her sister and it was so nice to see.
We went to see the dolphin show at tulum and I ve to say that for the girls it was a nice thing to do...
The show wasn't big but enough to entertain our girls.
At night we headed to l hacienda and bought gifts for everybody.
Camille receive a flute while Lea received her first doll.
Everybody were happy when it was time to go bed.
We on the contrary were exhausted while we had to finish to package everything up for our trip back home.Read more

Back home

It was a long day back home! We woke up at 7 am to be sure to be able to swim one last time to the pool. We left the hotel at 10.30 am and had 1.3min drive to the airport.... we ate a very good pizza while we were waiting for the flight.
The flight was good. The girls slept most of the time and were very nice. We are proud of them as always.
Now in Belgium it's raining and cold.... welcome home....Read more
