Chutes de Kambadaga, Guinea

We've had a number of long travel days staying in bush camps. Most of the time, we've been travelling at under 10kph! The roads are horrendous!! Not only do we get thrown around the truck, but we have to duck to avoid being decapitated by branches coming through the open windows.

Suffice to say, these falls were a very welcome relief! They were also a surprise as I hadn't researched them and didn't know how beautiful (and large) they were. Even better, I got them all to myself on an early morning walk! We camped above them, nearby on the edge of the river. It was an adventurous , steep walk to reach them. 😂Read more
