• Cruising on a budget.

Back on firm earth opted to head to the lakeshore - a little more peaceful and maybe head over to the islands to get a better view of the city, depending on time, weather & costs. Ambled through the Toronto Railroad Museum - the contrast between the ultra modern skyscrapers & the old rail buildings was quite striking. At the quay noticed a harbour cruise which would be more expensive than the ferry but would be a little more relaxed ambled on pondering whether it was worth it. Eventually decided to go with the easy option but by the time we got back the cruise was just leaving. Ah well cheap ferry option it is with the added bonus of a quick mooch around one of the islands. Couldn't decide which to go with & the ticket agent couldn't care less - the tickets cost the same - pay & you decide. Obviously didn't say that but his face suggested it. Bagsied the right side of the boat for city views - all very relaxed. Decided to have 40 mins on the island to have a quick explore of the car free peace. Lots of geese though. Very pleasant.もっと詳しく
