Girringun NP

Today I could finish my Australian Waterfall colection with the highest of all! The "Wallaman Falls" are 268m high. Which makes it to the highest singeldrop Waterfall in Australia, furthermore the highest in the southern hemisphere!
An very impressive view. But to really appreciate the size of it, you need to walk down to the bottom. The viewing platform is still a couple hundred meters away!
We climbed one at the time along this huge slippery boulders to the pool (deph of 20m) at the bottom!
There you just look up and be impressed. As the Water, from over 150 times higher as you, drops down in the Gorge! The huge amount of water which falls down, doesn't even reach the ground, a fair amount gets pulverized in the air!
I went for a swim in the pool and suddenly the sky cleared up and the sun came out! Because of the pulverized Water, it created a huge Rainbow right on top of me!

Heute konnte ich meine Australische Wasserfall Sammlung fertigstellen.
Es ging zu dem "Wallaman Wasserfall". Mit seinen 268 m ist es der höchste in Australien und sogar der höchste in der südlichen Welthalbkugel!
Schaut schon sehr eindrucksvoll aus von oben, aber um die größte Wertschätzen zu können, muss man runter in die Gorge gehen!
Dort ist die Aussichtsplatform immer noch ein paar hundert Meter weg. Also sind wir, einer nach dem anderen, über die großen, rutschigen Felsen, zum Pool (20 m tief) geklettert.
Dort ist man schlichtweg nur beeindruckt, Wie das Wasser herabstürzt. Von einer Höhe die über 150 mal so hoch ist wie einer selbst! Ein großer Teil des Wasser pulverisiert in der Luft und erreicht nicht mal den Boden!
Ich bin in dem Pool schwimmen gegangen, als plötzlich sich der Himmel aufgeklart hat und die Sonne kam raus! Die hat mit dem Wasserstaub einen wundervollen Regenbogen über mir gebildet!Okumaya devam et
