Fermentation Lab

The coolest thing about this place is its name. The beer was fine. The decor was strange and disconnected--mason jars of garlic cloves and chilis? I get that they are fermenting, but why? This is a beer bar, I feel certain those garlic cloves and chilis are not for brewing beer. The guy behind the bar seemed put out that we arrived 5 minutes after opening--he apparently needs some time to warm up to his job. His phone was connected to the sound system, so the 300 text alerts he got while we were there were broadcast overhead. Douchebag.Læs mere
