• Water hot and cold

    Our days are numbered in Iceland but that’s not slowing us down. We are off first to another hot springs. This one is known as Seljavallalaug swimming pool because it is actually built up as a pool. It might not have a dirt floor but it was still extremely algae filled that you could skate along the bottom of the pool. It was only semi warm as the hot water flowing in couldn’t really keep such a large space totally hot but it was a unique swimming experience for sure and we had some time pretty much alone again! It was raining while there so that didn’t help the slight chill we were feeling. As we walked the little ways to the car the cold definitely started to seep in and really didn’t want to let go the rest of the day. Next we saw a waterfall, Kvernufoss, which has a path to walk behind it! We hadn’t had this experience yet so, again, even though we are seeing similar things every day it stays exciting!Læs mere
