Day 363 - Cartagena

(Ursula) We have arrived in the coastal town of Cartagena, our final destination in Colombia. Here is where we plan to find a vessel for the US, preferably Miami.

We were warned about Cartagena. It was considered a dangerous port city, and we were extremely cautious and couldn't find a school or any place to stay we deemed safe.

After driving around and exploring the area, we found a spot on Bocagrande Beach where other campers were already stationed. Heinz got stuck in the sand. A bunch of bystanders helped to push and shove us to solid ground.

Ellen hasn't spoken to us all day. I have no idea why.
