Day 379 - Miami

Today we said goodbye to the crew and gifted the captain a nice bottle of rum.

Then we completed the necessary documents at customs and were free to roam about the country, and we obtained liability insurance before starting to drive.

The Dutch ship’s engineer, Mr. Nelleke, kindly invited us to his home. We could camp in the front yard under a huge mango tree.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelleke also spoke German. In the evening, we had dinner with them and talked for hours and hours about our travel adventure.Read more
