Chiang Mai to Pai

Picked up the bike at 9. Had breakfast, packed then set off. Got a ticket for not having an IDP within 30 mins of setting off - what bad luck. Went and paid the 500 (£12) baht fine at the police station. Phone fell off the bike mount but survived cos in case. And got stuck in a bit of traffic that simply wasn't moving so had to take an alternative route out of Chiang Mai. Didn't get out of the city till 1pm. Was a bit frustrated. But once got onto the loop it was such good riding that forgot all about that. Absolutely brilliant.
