Today, we were tendered a shore. With no guided tour booked, we thought a walking tour would do. That lasted about 10 minutes. Just a little hot again and decided to hire a taxi.
It was an interesting time as our taxi driver only spoke Portugese. She had pictures of the sites we visiting so we had a general idea of what we were seeing. Tour did include the city's oldest area. Of course, a stop at one of its famous beaches with white fine sand. Since it doesn't have mica the sand doesn't get hot and you can walk on it with bare feet.
The beach was unbelievably busy, and since it was Sunday most places were closed.
