    Killing Fields

    Today was a very sobering day. We took a group tour to visit the Killing fields of Choeung Ek, followed by the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, the notorious Khmer Rouge prison known as S-21, through whose gates more than 13,000 people passed to their deaths.Read more

    TravelerAgreed! Part of the exhibit had photos of the many victims with their names. So many people lost parents, children, and other family members never to be seen again. This visit had me think about my mother’s cousin who survived the killing fields, and the horrors he must have endured.
