Naturalist/Mt Baldy/Pierhead Lighthouse

Went on hike to Mt Tom with Naturalist Diana.
Very informative. Woodpeckers on Sassafras tree , Yellow-bellied sap suckered make lines of holes in trees.
Marram grass and cottonwood trees deep root systems supports the dunes
The crystals in the sand here will make blue glass...but cannot get sand because being a National Park
