TravelerWhat is a blow hole?
TravelerA blowhole is a natural geological feature found along coastlines, often in rocky or volcanic areas. It’s essentially a vertical shaft or crevice in the rock that connects to a sea cave or tunnel beneath the water’s surface. As waves crash into the cave, water is forced up through the shaft, creating a dramatic spout of water (sometimes resembling a geyser) that shoots into the air. The height and force of the blowhole depend on the tide, wave conditions, and the shape of the underlying cave system.
