Day at the Dunes

The day started out with a fog advisory so we delayed our start. When the fog started to dissipate the car would not start due to the damp conditions. After drying wires under the hood, it finally struggled to life. We set out to pass through Chicago and encountered patient drivers. People gave us lots of room. The drive was pleasant. We visited the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore near Gary, Indiana. Nice beaches and large sand dunes...kind of like it's name suggests. We are staying in Benton Harbor this evening. Tomorrow we drive to Kalamazoo...and may stop at the Gilmore Car Museum while on the road.Leggi altro
