Adventures in Long ass drives

Today I woke up thinking I had a 3/4 hour drive to my overnight stop in Canberra, to but it mildly I was dismayed to learn that i had at some point decided that it was a good idea to do a a seven hour drive today... and not the fun kinda driving I had been doing, boring, motorway, average scenery driving... I would have had a look round Canberra but it was already 5pm by the time i got here, I hadnt eaten, not heard anything particularly interesting sooooooooo pizza hut, couple beers and chill out for a 7.30am start to get the car back to Sydney before mid-day ( I know from past experience they will charge you for a full day if you're a few minutes late), so wish me luck!.... *update* I did wake up at 7.30, I did make the drive and my total distance for the week is...............2,122KMRead more
