Auf nach Saparewa Banja! ♨️
Michael ist ein großer Fan von Thermalbädern, und da es in Bulgarien einige davon gibt, machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Saparewa Banja. Schon die Fahrt dorthin war ein Erlebnis, die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend! 🏞️
In Saparewa Banja angekommen, steuerten wir direkt das Thermalbad an. Am Parkplatz angekommen, musste Michael erstmal seine Sprachkenntnisse unter Beweis stellen, um mit der Parkplatzwächterin zu kommunizieren. 😅 Aber keine Sorge, er hat die Herausforderung mit Bravour gemeistert und wir konnten unser Auto abstellen. 💪
Das Thermalbad selbst war einfach fantastisch! Es gab mehrere Außenbecken mit unterschiedlichen Temperaturen, von erfrischenden 13 Grad bis hin zu wohlig warmen 42 Grad. 🔥 Anfangs waren wir etwas verloren und wussten nicht so recht, wie alles funktioniert. Aber nach kurzer Zeit hatten wir den Dreh raus und konnten die entspannende Atmosphäre in vollen Zügen genießen. 😌
Was uns besonders auffällt: Es scheint, als hätte jedes Geschäft, jede Einrichtung und jedes Haus seine eigenen Tiere – Hunde und Katzen laufen überall herum. 🐶🐱 Ob sie alle wirklich ein Zuhause haben? Wir wissen es nicht genau. 🤔 Auch im Thermalbad gab es eine "Hauskatze", die ständig zwischen den Badegästen umherschlich, sich streicheln ließ und die Leute neugierig beobachtete. 😄
Auf dem Rückweg machten wir noch einen Abstecher zum Rila-Kloster. Was für ein beeindruckender Ort! 🤩 Die Architektur, die Farben, die Atmosphäre – einfach unglaublich. Leider war es schon zu spät, um das Museum und die Innenräume zu besichtigen. Aber die Kirche, die wir von außen bewundern konnten, war schon allein die Reise wert. 🙏 Auch hier waren wieder Katzen unterwegs, die sich von den Besuchern überhaupt nicht stören ließen. 🐱

#Off to Saparewa Banja! ♨️
Michael is a big fan of thermal baths, and since there are quite a few of them in Bulgaria, we set off for Saparewa Banja. Even the journey there was an experience in itself, the landscape is simply breathtaking! 🏞️
Once we arrived in Saparewa Banja, we headed straight for the thermal baths. When we got to the parking lot, Michael first had to put his language skills to the test to communicate with the parking attendant. 😅 But don't worry, he mastered the challenge with flying colors and we were able to park our car. 💪
The thermal baths themselves were simply fantastic! There were several outdoor pools with different temperatures, from a refreshing 13 degrees to a comfortably warm 42 degrees. 🔥 At first, we were a bit lost and didn't really know how everything worked. But after a short time we got the hang of it and could fully enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. 😌
What we noticed in particular: It seems as if every shop, every establishment and every house has its own animals - dogs and cats are running around everywhere. 🐶🐱 Whether they all really have a home? We don't know for sure. 🤔 There was also a "house cat" at the thermal baths, constantly strolling among the bathers, letting itself be petted and curiously observing the people. 😄
On the way back we made a detour to the Rila Monastery. What an impressive place! 🤩 The architecture, the colors, the atmosphere - simply incredible. Unfortunately, it was already too late to visit the museum and the interior. But the church, which we could admire from the outside, was worth the trip alone. 🙏 Here, too, there were cats again, who were not bothered by the many visitors at all. 🐱Read more
