Fun Fact: Rusutsu Resort in Hokkaido, Japan, and Steamboat Ski Resort in Colorado share a deep, historic connection through Kamori Kanko Co., Ltd., which owned both properties in the early 1990s. This relationship, which included significant on-hill investments by Kamori in Colorado, was rekindled in 2015 with a partnership offering reciprocal lift ticket benefits for season passholders. We did not expect to find such a great mountain in this small, sleepy village. And I mean SMALL. Sitting at the base of 3600 ft volcano, it's surrounded by diakon farms and small dairy markets, this mountain gets an average of 552 inches a year! David loved it!Read more
