    Jeju island, flights to jeju are like train connections, frequent and cheap. Also last minute counters to buy tickets.
    Mostly just a bit of coastal walks for me there, didn't do the mountain hike since it was cloudy to rainy.Read more

    Busan has apparently the largest department store, kinda felt more like 3 shopping malls connected than one big one.
    Otherwise mainly taking a stroll up the hills around town and looking at old buildings and temples.Read more

    Underground shopping streets seem to be popular here. If there is a metro there is likely also shopping down there in the city center.

    5 shore dives with bluewater diving and friends from islands dive.
    Can recommend ;)
    They even have a working mailbox in the ocean and the mailman empties it, you can send postcards from there.

    Diving and hiking around the island. There is also an old prison memorial from the martial law period.
    Quite chill island, still a lot of restaurants closed due to pre season.

    Busier town. I didn't like it much here when i stopped the first time. Stopped again on the way to puli later on, and it was better. It really just came down to having a pleasant hostel. The first one was just too un-personal, felt more welcome in the family mart/ 7-11.Read more

    Small and quiet town, from here you can take the ferry to green island. Probably will go there towards the end of the trip. It's a bit early season for it right now. While you can already go diving there, there are going to be very few people and stores and restaurants might be closed.
    So i will do the cities first and come back to east Taiwan greenery later.
    Taitung has some nice parks to walk around, but I haven't done the big national parks yet. Since It was raining every day.    Read more

    A small place on the coast, if you go by car it's certainly worth a stop for a day. Surfing, diving, a bit of beach, and tiny hikes possible here.
    But otherwise really small and quiet.
    The hike isn't too special and not crowded, but i didn't do the touristy "main" one.Read more

    It's quite the contrast to south east Asia cities.
    A lot quieter and less busy on the road if you have a good public transport. Also people follow traffic laws again. It's clean and people are friendly.Read more

    Back in bohol, sadly still no diving, but a bit more snorkeling, the hostel went with a boat to Balicasag island and we snorkeled there to see some turtles.
    soon it's off to Taiwan.

    I still have a bit of a cold that i caught on bohol. So no diving for me. But i did a bit of snorkeling at Tubod Beach/Marine Sanctuary.

    Road trip with bikes around island, tasiers sanctuary and on the way to camugao waterfall we found the kitten. All alone in the middle of the road, no houses or cats etc near. Now we try to find a home for the little foundling.

    Update, animal rescue found a foster that going to take little kitty Grogu in, our tiny foundling.    Read more

    Well, tried looking for apartment in Zurich, but decided then against it and rather keep traveling.
    Now I'm in the Philippines.
    First stop Manila.
    Old Spanish town with lots of churches, and an old fort. Huge city overall.Read more

    A lot more pleasant than Bucharest for sure. Nice mix of history/culture with a German, a Hungarian, and a Romanian part of town.
    Also visited a bear sanctuary and Bran castle.

    Lots of old ruins below the city from Roman times, in many corners in the city center you can see them right incorporated into buildings. Also lots of churches/temples from different religions very close together.

    Lots of statues, well it certainly worked and it made the city more interesting. Also a day trip to the Matka canyon. With a short boat tour and a visit to a small drip stone cave.
