Returning to QLD - Part 2

We spent 2 nights in Lightning Ridge and it rained which is good for the town but makes sight seeing a little hard. The roads turned to mud as soon as you leave the main town centre. The cactus farm was closed due to flooded paths. We did see the sunset at Nettleton first shaft lookout.
From there we went to St George and then onto Goondiwindi. Pretty town with plenty to see.
We went onto Stanthorpe and onto Bellmere to stay with family. We were able to catchup with my dad for his birthday and my brothers and their families.Read more
