This morning we woke at 5:00 to take an early boat to the floating market 50 minutes down river. Apparently in Vietnam you can buy food anywhere, so as we were on our way a food boat full of snacks and drinks pushed up against ours and I bought coffee. The market was busy already when we arrived there, boats full of flowers, watermellons, other fresh fruits and vegetables, advertising their product on poles attached verically on their bows. Our boat driver skillfully wove her way through the crowd of vessels, sometimes bouncing off the others. Traffic jams, thats another thing that you can find anywhere in Vietnam 😄Read more
