A day in Gisborne

We have had a great day - getting around Gisborne. It has been a great day for dramatic cloud photos. Starting first thing this morning on the beach.
First thing in town was a visit to Raglan Roast cafe for some of their great coffee - we loved it in Raglan and it was just as great in Gisborne. Went to the Farmers Market and bought some things for dinner and breakfast and a big bag of Tamarillos. A bit of window shopping. Had lunch at the Works - which was interesting as we sat outside and a road was tar sealed while we had lunch. Went up on the hill over looking Gisborne - which was a smokey old city - lots of households with fires.
Got home and chilling out - with the heat pump on.Read more
