The Pies are in the oven..

Yep the pies are in the oven for dinner - we just got home from going to the movies - The Gurnsey Book and Potato Pie Society. We enjoyed it - nice little story and good to see it - we love movies but don't get to many.
The rain that was threatened has finally arrived - which is good because we spent the afternoon on a vintage train ride to a little backwater called Muriwai. It was a last minute thing - Robyn dashed into the station and bought tickets while I went in search of some lunch snacks to take.
It was a super outing with lots of families. It was great with all the steam and black smoke and chugging along through the housing areas and out into the country.
Naturally we had a coffee at the Roast and came back to chill out - Robyn had a wee sleep.
