Quiet Day in south

The most exciting thing we did today was to talk with Phinn on the phone for his birthday .... oh yes and I got Wordle in 3.
No hurry leaving Alexandra this morning and a chance to sort out our luggage that had got a little jumbled. We went into Alexandra for coffee to the Court House which surprisingly was closing at 11:00 - short of staff so open 7:00 to 11:00.
Then back to Clyde to sort out some of the uncertain arrangements with Shebikeshebikes and a wander about the streets in the sun.
We drove to Roxburgh for lunch and good coffee at the 103 The Store, a visit to the supermarket and then around to our accommodation for the night.
So not a lot to report - we planned this as a rest day and I think we achieved that.
Tomorrow we do the first leg of the Clutha Gold trail which is about 40km - this is a different trail and we are looking forward to some new scenery. Bob and I will need to head off early to move some overnight gear to Beaumont.
