Chinggis Khan Statue complex

Today we left UB in our 4 wheeled drives for 2 days in the national parks.
2 hours east of UB was our first destination- the massive statue of Chinggis ( Ghengis) Khan standing at 26m tall.
He is holding the golden horse whip which he reportedly found on this site and it was responsible for giving him extra strength and power.
The complex was reported built and funded by a private company whose owner is weirdly now the country’s president! However it is an impressive monument to an impressive warrior.Read more
