Terelj national park and monastery

After Chinggis Khan we headed deeper into the Terelj NP. Despite its impressive and awe inspiring rock formations it is full of holiday camps.
We checked into our v swanky ger for the night at Terelj Lodge- our ger has 3 large v untraditional windows but the view is worth the deviation.
Another 4 course lunch was followed by a trip to “turtle rock” and the hillside Aryaval Monastery and meditation centre. It was an impressive little place with 108 steps leading to it. I think this is to give u time to empty ur mind before u Enter- K’s was already v empty so she had no trouble!!
Now back at lodge warming up as it’s pretty cold at 5 degs as the sunsets at 6.30pm.
