Took photo of Cardiff Park, now renamed. Did self tour of Cardiff Castle. The rooms were so ornately decorated. I have bought a book on the castle which shows this. Also went up the Keep which is on Czytaj więcej

This ancient city of baths is a fascinating place . You get to wander around the old bath areas, see sauna and spa used by both the English in Jane Austin times and by the Romans.

Back on the causeway made from stones from the abbey. Six hundred years ago this land would be a marsh land with secret tracks through. Imagine the pilgrims finding their way to the Abbey. 1685 Czytaj więcej
Dartmoor

Home to prison holding dangerous prisoners. Ponies on moorland are famous as are Brecon ponies.

After a brief orientation, this town looks to be very interesting. After travelling through very narrow country lanes onto freeway, then back into small town streets we are at the hotel.
