Armidale and Uralla area.

Large breakfast served in the sun room. Later in the morning we drove down to Dangars Falls; but no water flowing over. On across to Gostwych Chapel. A cute little church covered in ivy, which we had seen in May 2014 with all the autumn leaves around. The picturesque, old nearby timber bridge has been replaced.
Then drove into Uralla and walked up and down the main street, before getting a reuben sandwich and coffee for lunch. Called in to view Saumarez Homestead from outside (clised for tours) on way to University of New England and its old Boom.... building. Over to a lookout view of Armidale, down to information centre, drive through tge city, then home to our guesthouse. Had a little wine tasting of the local whites, a walk in the grounds, then a quiet couple of hours before dinner in Armidale at PJs Thai on Marsh St. Very small, basic and a bit grotty; the entrees were just passable, but the main was fine.
